Boise Idaho Airport (BOI) named the second-most relaxing U.S. airport.
The Travel Channel ranking was based upon the ease of getting through security, parking, food, drinks, cocktails, artwork, and other criteria.
It’s also interesting to note that BOI had the lowest number of flight delays and cancellations during the December 2018 holiday travel time.
If you’ve flown to or from the Boise ID airport, you know how smoothly everything operates while serving four million passengers a year.
Friendly Airport Security
Getting through the Boise Airport security is usually easy with just a few people in line ahead of you.
If you fly in/out of BOI regularly, you already appreciate our friendly TSA employees (no attitudes) who provide a good experience while going through security.
Some of my clients who fly frequently have even commented that they’ve gotten to know the airport’s security personnel on a first name basis.
Parking at the airport is convenient (and inexpensive!) with the parking garage located just a few steps from the terminal.
Unlike some other, larger airports with remote locations, the Boise ID Airport is located just minutes from downtown Boise, Meridian, Eagle, and other nearby destinations.
BOI also offers a number of outstanding options for dining, including Bardenay, 13thStreet Pub & Grill, Parilla Grill, Einstein Bros. Bagels, Smashburger, River City Coffee & Café, Cross Grain Brewhouse, and other eateries.
