Idaho Is Now The Least Regulated State In The Country!
Idaho’s Governor, Brad Little, has transformed Idaho into the least regulated state in the country during his first year in office.
Little’s first two executive orders (see links below) were issued less than one year ago and required overhauling Idaho’s regulations and occupational licensing laws to reduce the state’s red tape.
During that time, the State of Idaho eliminated, or simplified, 75% of its regulations!
Over the past year, Idaho has eliminated 30,936 of its previous 72,000 restrictions.
With roughly 41,000 remaining restrictions, Idaho has replaced South Dakota as the least regulated state in the country.
In a news release, Governor Little said “Idaho’s conservative approach to governing has truly transformed the state’s administrative code into a set of regulations that are streamlined and easier for citizens and businesses to navigate. When we reduce the friction on entrepreneurs and businesses, good-paying jobs will follow”.
