Boise Homes For Sale: Vacant Homes
I’m often asked why there are so many vacant homes in MLS.
We currently have 1,685 single-family homes for sale in Ada County.
958 (56.9%) of them are vacant.
This seems shocking until you realize:
- 247 of them are “To Be Built” (non-existent phantom listing inventory).
- Another 133 homes are “Under Construction”.
Thus, only 578 (34.3%) of them are vacant existing homes.
It’s always interesting to understand the underlying details of real estate statistics!
