Idaho Unemployment Rate Drops Again
I feel like I’m repeating myself each month, but Idaho’s unemployment rate dropped (again!) to 7% in October; its lowest rate in three and one-half years.
Idaho’s Department of Labor also reported 14,200 more jobs in October 2012 vs. October 2011.
Idaho’s unemployment rate has dropped nearly two percentage points since peaking at 8.9% in July 2011.
Further, Idaho’s rate of unemployment has remained below the national rate since 2001.
The Treasure Valley, including Boise, Meridian, and the Nampa Corridor fared even better, reporting 6.7% unemployment in October.
Finally, Boise reported a 6.3% unemployment rate for October.
hmmmm . . . . maybe repetition is a good thing?
