Idaho Backroads: Wilder, Idaho
Wilder, Idaho is located on U.S. 95, about 12 miles west of Caldwell.
Wilder is your typical southwestern Idaho farm town and you’re as likely to see a tractor or a farm truck on the road as a car.
The iconic Wilder water tower presides over the downtown area and the downtown business block is a throwback to the 1950s.
Interestingly, the Wilder Bar is located next door to a church.
The bar, complete with candy canes on its roof, is now listed for sale by Exit Realty, having “exited” the bar business (it’s closed).
