Idaho Backroads: Ola, Idaho

Ola, Idaho is located in the beautiful, scenic Upper Squaw Creek Valley, 17 miles north of Hwy 52 between Horseshoe Bend and Emmett.

The unincorporated town was first established as a post office in 1882 by Carroll Baird.

The surrounding rural area is now populated with farms and ranches.

Residents of Ola must travel to Horseshoe Bend (26 miles) or Emmett (31 miles) for shopping.
