Idaho Backroads: Notus, Idaho
Notus, Idaho is a small farming community located about 8 miles northwest of Caldwell on Highway 20/26.
The Union Pacific Railroad’s mainline runs through town.
Local shopping is available in Parma, about 8 miles farther west, or in Caldwell.
Major shopping is available in Boise.
The nostalgic old firehouse still has the siren on its roof and the old 1950s-era GMC fire truck sitting alongside.
