Boise homes prices have risen sharply since bottoming in April of 2011.

Here’s a year-to-date breakdown of monthly average and median prices during 2012.

January

February

  • Median Selling Price: $178,200

  • Average Selling Price: $209,371
  • Median Selling Price: $174,792

  • Average Selling Price: $203,366
  • Median Selling Price: $171,990

August

  • Average Selling Price: $208,965
  • Median Selling Price: $180,000

2012 YTD Average Selling Price Change: +21.3%

2012 YTD Median Selling Price Change: +30.0%

Data pertains to Ada County single-family homes on lot or acreage.  Data does not include condo or townhome properties.

    This sure seems like good news for Boise.

    21% increase….wow.

    I’ve been wondering why the subdivisions that have been largely vacant are seeing so much activity now. This explains a lot.
