YTD Boise New Home Sales By Price Range

Here’s a breakdown of 2012 year-to-date closed new home sales broken out by price range.

  • Under $200,000: 388 (46.2% of total)
  • $200,000 to $299,999: 268 (31.9% of total)
  • $300,000 to $399,999: 142 (16.9% of total)
  • $400,000 to $499,999: 25 (3.0% of total)
  • $500,000 and above: 17 (2.0% of total)
  • Total YTD closed new home sales: 840

It’s interesting to note that 656 (78.1%) of the total homes sold were under $300,000.

This is yet another indicator that our “recovery” is occurring mostly in the lower end of our market.

Data pertains to Ada County single-family homes on lot or acreage.  Data does not include condo or townhome properties.

New home sales = homes that are under construction, to-be-built, or new/never occupied.

Year-to-date + closed sales between 1/1/12 and 8/23/12.
