Boise Real Estate’s Cash Buyers
I keep hearing about all of the investors who are paying cash for homes in the Boise real estate market, so I decided to drill into our Intermountain MLS data and see if it’s true.
Here’s a breakdown of YTD all-cash sales for Ada County.
Total Closed Sales
- # Closed Sales: 3,485
- Cash Sales: 685 (19.7% of total sales)
Under $200,000 Sales
- # Closed Sales: 2,250
- Cash Sales: 515 (22.9%)
Data pertains to Ada County single-family homes on lot/acreage. Data does not include condo or townhome properties.
YTD = First six months of 2012.
