With roughly 60% of Ada County home sales under $200,000, it’s interesting to see how those homes are being financed.

Here’s a breakdown of June’s under-$200,000 sales, by type of financing.

  • Total Closed Sales: 421
  • Cash: 98 (23.3%)
  • FHA: 104 (24.7&)
  • VA: 33 (7.8%)
  • Conventional: 160 (38.0%)
  • IHA: 19 (4.5%)
  • Rural Development: 4 (1.0%)
  • Assumed Loan: None
  • Seller Carry: 3 (.71%)

Data pertains to Ada County single-family homes on lot/acreage.  Data does not include condo or townhome properties.
