How Builders Cut Costs: Gutters
One of the easiest ways for a builder to save a few bucks is to install only those rain gutters required by the building code.
That usually means the homeowner will have to install additional gutters at some point to avoid damage to landscaping and possible water intrusion into the crawlspace caused by rainwater runoff.
