This was the view from my home office one morning recently as I was checking my e-mail, coffee in hand.

I heard the unmistakable whooshing sound of a hot air balloon, looked out my office window, and grabbed my camera.

Such scenes are common in the Eagle area during the early morning hours of our Spring and Summer days as ballooning enthusiasts take advantage of the cool, calm morning air.

It’s pretty cool to live in peacful Eagle, Idaho!
