I've Gone Digital !
Back in the dark ages (a couple of years ago), Realtors® used to fax their paperwork back and forth, but things have changed.
Nowadays, more and more Realtors® are transmitting their paperwork by scanning it to a pdf file and attaching it to an e-mail.
I embraced the digital revolution a few months ago and bought a HP 2840 Color LaserJet All-In-One.
This allows me to scan my paperwork (from listing to closed sale) and store each document in its own Windows file folder.
(it also provides me with a backup HP Color LaserJet printer in addition to my workhorse HP 4650)
Going digital eliminates the hassles of jammed fax machines, faxes that didn’t go through, missing pages, etc.
Best of all ~ I can take my digital paperwork with me wherever I go.
Example: I recently received word of an incoming offer for one of my listings while on the way to the airport to attend a Buffini Coaching Program in Seattle.
I had the buyer’s agent scan the offer and e-mail it to me, retrieved her e-mail with my laptop when I arrived in Seattle, forwarded it to my seller in Texas, and we put the deal together ~ electronically!
This is how real estate will be done in the future.
And I’m doing it now.
