Boise Real Estate Follies – Flyers
Ever pulled up to a home you really liked, only to discover that there were no flyers in the flyer box?
No flyers in the flyer box is perhaps the #1 complaint I hear from buyers.
What’s so hard about keeping flyers in a flyer box, anyway?
Yeah, I know, keeping flyers in the box actually requires the listing agent to occasionally check to see if the box is empty, print more flyers, and deliver them.
I wonder what the true cost is (for both the seller and listing agent) when a “real buyer” drives away in disgust because there were no flyers in the box.
Worse yet is no flyer box at all!
Some listing agents actually believe people will call (so they can get a “lead”) if they don’t install a flyer box.
Finally, there’s the silly practice of no price on a flyer in the silly belief that buyers will call the listing agent to ask the price!
I provide a flyer box stocked with full-color flyers with lots of photos and a vivid description for all of my listings.
And, I make sure that my flyer boxes always have a good supply of flyers in them!
