Boise Real Estate Goes High-Tech
I like technology ~ especially when I can combine it with providing exceptional real estate service!
Today marks my first time using online transaction management.
I sold a beautiful home earlier today, then opened the escrow with Title One, and immediately saw the details of my new transaction posted to Title One’s new online transaction management website.
My buyers could track the progress of their transaction if they wished to do so, but they have chosen to trust me to ensure that all goes as planned. Despite being tech-savvy, they are a little overwhelmed with the realization that we found their dream home and prefer to leave the details to me.
Which is fine with me because I am a control freak and wouldn’t leave anything to chance anyway.
FYI: I am NOT impatient, I just want it my way and want it now!
I will, however, be monitoring the progress of their transaction from opening escrow this afternoon to our closing date of 2/16/07.
That should be pretty simple, given that we have an all-cash transaction with the home inspection being done tomorrow morning.
My buyers will not be returning to Boise for their closing, so Nan Holmes (my trusty, incredible Title One escrow godess) will likely e-mail their closing papers to them in Southern California and we will have them wire their funds into escrow.
Stay tuned for further reports on my first excurion into online transaction management!
